We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, with its quirky building and excellent location. The staff was welcoming, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the convenience of the parking and the easy access to transportation. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Auburn and South Lake Tahoe, as well as indulging in outdoor activities. We highly recommend visiting Gold Bug Mine and Apple Hill, both just a short drive away. Additionally, the hotel's rich history, tied to the California Gold Rush, added an extra layer of fascination to our stay.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
The hotel is clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the beautiful lobby and the unique style of the hotel, which has been originally restored. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending a great place for breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the downtown area of this city. We loved being able to walk to unique shops and restaurants, and the hotel was convenient for transportation to other places in Placerville.
Nothing that we didn't like.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the main street of this charming city. The hotel itself has a rich history, with its interior structure and amenities reflecting the charm of the late 1800's and early 1900's. The cleanliness was exceptional and everything was well-maintained. Additionally, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The parking was easy and convenient, allowing me to unload right in front of the hotel. The best part was the peacefulness of my room, which shut out any street noise, ensuring a restful sleep.
Nothing it was perfect.
