The hotel had excellent food, friendly staff, and beautiful grounds with a water view. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, close to local attractions such as St. Ann's Episcopal Church and Walker's Point, and there were plenty of seafood restaurants nearby. The hotel also provided free parking and transportation options were available.

The room was fantastic with a stunning view of the river. The weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We even witnessed a wedding from our room at 5 o'clock, which was a lovely coincidence since we got married in another town at the same time. The complimentary wine, cheese, and fruit were a delightful touch, and dinner on the porch was almost like a private dining experience. The staff, especially those at the reception and the doorman/tour guide/shuttle driver/historian, were genuinely pleasant and helpful, always on top of everything. The location next to the river was great, offering a soothing atmosphere. We loved sitting in the provided chairs and watching the boats. Additionally, being just a short walk from the beach was convenient, and we appreciated the complimentary van transportation to and from town.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view from my clean and comfortable room. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the staff was always willing to help with whatever needs I had. The pastry chef at the breakfast tent, Fire and Ice, was incredibly sweet. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and just a short walk down to the beach. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. the staff was always available and very helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The location next to the river is great, we loved sitting in the provided chairs and watching the boats. Plus, it's just a short walk from the beach. The complimentary van to and from town was a huge help for us. We also appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff, with the manager even moving us to a more convenient room on the first floor. The historical property is beautifully maintained and offers stunning views of the inlet.
